 United Arab Emirates Visa Guidelines


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy has issued updated instructions for individuals seeking a UAE visa. Below are the key requirements and procedures for visa applications:


Visa Processing Fee


The visa processing fee is USD 69 per person for all visa categories except for employment visas.



Application Process


Applicants must submit their visa applications online for visit, tourist, and family visas (employment visas are excluded from online applications).


Once the application is submitted, applicants will receive a notification to visit the embassy or visa center if required.



Required Documents


When visiting the UAE Embassy or Visa Center, applicants must bring the following:


1. Proof of Visa Application: A copy of the submitted visa application.



2. Bank Statement: A signed and stamped bank statement from the applicant, their parents, or sponsor, showing transactions for the past six months with a minimum balance of USD 5,000 or its equivalent.



3. Proof of Accommodation: Evidence of where the applicant will stay, such as:


Hotel booking confirmation


Address of a residence


Documentation if staying with friends or relatives




4. Return Air Ticket: A confirmed return ticket is required.



5. Identification Documents:


Original National Identity Card or Passport, valid for at least 6 months


Payment of the USD 69 visa fee, which must be deposited in a specified Al-Falah Bank account. A receipt of the payment must be presented when visiting the visa center.





Special Instructions for Children


Children Under 5 Years Old:


Not required to visit the visa center.


A passport-sized photo with a white background is required.


The photo should not include sunglasses, and the child should be seated properly.



Children Aged 6 to 15 Years Old:


These applicants do not need to bring a photo, as it will be captured at the visa center.



Children Aged 15 Years and Older:


Must visit the visa center.


The visa process, including biometrics, will be conducted similarly to adults.




Biometric and Visa Completion


All applicants aged 5 years and older must visit the visa center to complete the biometric and visa process.



This information ensures applicants understand the necessary steps and documents required to apply for a UAE visa.
